It's a shame though that you can't help those who really need help and I guess if one pucks and chooses who's more in need kook more in depth not just the situation one specific ie suicide attempt. Some people suffer no help down to the so called professional people who think they know best and actually done just a judge on past assessments,needs etc . Stop judgin or they'll be another suicide.

Is it really okay to just put nail polish onto a NHS issued laptop? It looks unprofessional and irresponsible. Note: the GMC states that doctors must be professional.

I feel like the raises a lot of ethical and legal questions. Do you have consent to access this information? I think that you need to have a signed contract where the patient understands the implications either way and the right to deny you access to their records. It is important that the patient is treated with respect. Invading their right to privacy goes against the data protection act. In this case does the patient understand your role as a professional? Finally, the patients physical health should have be fully assessed prior to mental health intervention. Why do you need blood test results, unless it is for a pre-existing condition?
